How to play
Learn first words in another language with pictures and spoken words. Made for toddlers and young kids to enjoy with a grown-up.
- Pick a language: Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese, German, Italian or Portuguese. Then pick a topic like Animals, Colors or Food.
- Learn: tap a picture to hear the word in the new language and then in English. The word shows big on screen. Mandarin also shows pinyin with tone marks.
- Find it: listen for a word and tap the matching picture. A different picture just says its own name, so every tap teaches something.
For grown-ups: this device does not seem to have a voice for the chosen language, so words may be read in an English voice or not at all. The written word still shows on screen. You can usually add language voices in your phone or computer settings under Accessibility or Speech.
For grown-ups: there are no timers, no scores to lose and no ads. Portuguese uses Brazilian words and Mandarin uses simplified characters. Tap Sound off for quiet play.
